Nesa Azadikhah is an Iranian electronic music composer, sound artist, DJ and producer, and was among the first to introduce live performances and DJing to her country’s underground scene. Having trained in traditional Persian music, she has developed a style that blends field recordings, techno, ambient and breakbeat.

Her artistic practice is deeply rooted in activism. In 2022, following the killing of Mahsa Amini, she co-produced the compilation *Woman, Life, Freedom*, a collective project by Iranian artists in support of the protests and the affected communities, a decision that led her to leave Iran and move to Europe. Back in 2017, she had already composed the soundtrack for the series Iran#NoFilter for ARTE, dedicated to a generation that uses digital media to assert identity and freedom.

Today, her DJ sets bridge club culture and political engagement, constructing layered soundscapes in which rhythm becomes a space for listening, presence and speaking out.
