Factanza Media and SOS MEDITERRANEE present a screening of the new documentary I Once Dreamed About This Boat.
The Central Mediterranean is the deadliest migration route in the world. Every day, humanitarian ships such as the Ocean Viking attempt to save lives, yet face increasing obstacles in the form of bans, attacks and political pressure.
I Once Dreamed About This Boat offers an insider’s view, through the voices of the crew and survivors, of what it means to rescue, to resist and to never stop believing in the universal value of humanity. Because understanding what happens when saving lives risks becoming a crime means understanding our times and the future that awaits us.
The introduction will be provided by Factanza Media and SOS MEDITERRANEE.
